Hana Water Systems North Replaces Key Infrastructure
In 2020, Hana Water Systems North completed its replacement of a key 50,000-gallon water storage tank with the support of the Hawaiʻi State Department of Health. The single tank was replaced by two 50,000-gallon tanks for greater holding capacity and reliability for our customers.

Over the course of 2022-23, Hana Water Systems North continued its system improvements by replacing a critical 30,000-gallon storage tank with two 18,000-gallon tanks. Hana Water Systems North also installed a new 5,000-gallon storage tank at the system's highest elevation, and a backup generator at the main well. Like other recent upgrades, the goal of these replacements is to improve reliability for our customers.
